Everything, especially having to do with being a queer American, is better than it ever was: We can find each other and interact and even fight right out in public with dramatically lower chances of being killed or arrested.
Despite that, everything feels like it’s the worst it’s ever been, because Queer Americans simply do not know how to easily trust-in and maintain peace.
